It is one of Greece's more distinctive and rare honeys: dark copper to red-amber when fresh, rich and creamy in texture, less sweet than many honeys, and finished with slightly bitter, earthy notes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHeather honey naturally crystallizes quickly, creating a thick, buttery texture.
