Created by Greek-born artist Julie Abadie for Hermès, the “1821” carré pays tribute to the Greek War of Independence and Franco-Hellenic friendship. First designed in 1971 and later reissued in 1985 and 2005, its intricate composition brings together equestrian figures, arms, books, seals, and heraldic details in a richly layered silk tableau.
This pre-owned vintage scarf is offered as an individual colorway.
